Heading upstairs, into what the Canberra Centre is calling the Australian Designer Precinct you will find that Mecca has consolidated its two stores into one.
Interestingly its location is opposite the recently arrived Chanel boutique that offers fragrance, makeup, and skincare.
The new Mecca store is a case of Mecca by name mega by nature.
The store footprint covers skincare, with the ability to get a personalised skin assessment; a perfumery; wellness products; and of course, makeup.
You can arrange makeup lessons, facials, and other types of treatments.
Shopping for womenswear expect an elevated experience
Womenswear particularly event dressing options are now a lot rosier with the opening of Scanlon Theodore and Rebecca Vallance. These retailers are joining Aje which after trying Canberra out with a pop up has committed to a new store.
Moving into what seems to have become Canberra’s women’s fashion pop up space is the casualwear specialist Nude Lucy.
Rounding out the new additions offering womenswear are Kookai and Viktoria & Woods, the later offers elevated workwear.
Another new addition is luggage retailer July Luggage.
