Ultra Feminine boho chic fashion enters its romantic era
Fashion brands have been flirting with a 70’s style boho chic recently, think crochet tops and flares but since Chloe’s Spring Summer 2024 collection this flirtation has become a full-scale romance.
Ultra Feminine Boho style is back
Chloe’s Spring Summer 2025 collection saw them consolidated this trend.
Embracing this trend too were the collections of Gabrielle Hearst, Zimmermann, Isabel Marant who had a western take, as did Ralph Lauren. While Alessandro Michele for Valentino channelled a sophisticated Almost Famous rock groupie vibe.
Body hugging sheers and mesh have given way to frills, lettuce hems and flowing sleeves.
Ultra feminine dressing mixes easily with relaxed vaguely military inspired suiting with cargo pockets including bomber style cropped and thigh length jackets.
Jackets come with big shoulders offsetting the volumes of fabric used to create the boho chic style.
The bohic chic styling extends to accessories.

While the clothes are ultra feminine the footwear is practical and comfortable.
On the runway the ultra-feminine clothing was worn with chunky roman sandals and flats.
Heels when worn are mid-high.
70’s style jewellery featuring long chains, semi-precious and organic forms with delicate but large earrings work perfectly with the relaxed and flowing dresses and tops.
Floppy hats and large round glasses reinforce the 70’s boho chic vibe, see Valentino and Zimmermann.
There are a number of brands to try if you are excited about creating this style.
Creating this style
Locally, if you want to embrace this style try brands like Romance was Born, Camilla, or Aje.
A go to for the sandals is Gorman.
H&M or Zara have on trend crochet tops, while bassike have lovely lace pieces.
Em on Holiday is worth a try for a mini bubble skirt or a dress.
The key to creating this style is to embrace it from head to toe.
