Dior Cruise 2025 Collection
These are a few of my favourite things could have been the theme of the latest Dior Cruise 2025 Collection, which was staged in the gardens of the Drummond Castle, Scotland.
DRESSING FOR SUMMER IN THE HIGHLANDS
The runway on this occasion were the gravel paths which traverse the beautiful gardens at Drummond Castle.
The setting, rich in history and the culture of Scotland in particular Mary Queen of Scots, played hostess to a collection celebrating textiles in this case tweed.
Tweed is not a fabric you might often associated with Cruise Collections but this one from Dior featuring off the shoulder looks, mini dresses and shorts in a purple, red and mustard check also embraced a classic mid length jacket, midi skirt and pants. The skirts when styled with pants has a very mid 2020’s feel.
The bubble skirt, which is on its way back was also featured in this collection.
Accessories including choker style necklaces of gold and pearls added romanticism to this practical collection.
There was a touch of goth highlander in this collection which is appealing.
The use of lace and velvet adding a luxurious and luminous quality to the collection.
And the favourite things:
- Amazing castle
- Beautiful gardens
- Stunning textiles
- Velvet and lace
- Statement jewellery
A perfect collection for Summer in the Highlands.
