Amanda was readying to move to Canada and wanted to take the opportunity to update her look. We started by talking about what she liked and did not like about her current look. The conversation focused on her lifestyle. Amanda is a practical person who works with her hands and as an economist and data analyst. She did not need a fussy look but did want to be able to change it up when not in her work clothes.

Our shopping trip involved finding relaxed but stylish clothes that fitted her body and made a clear transition from her work clothes. This did mean taking Amanda out of her comfort zone when it came to the colour and prints. The clothes we found stayed true to her aesthetic and body shape. Amongst the pieces acquired were perfect fitting jeans and a navy-blue T-shirt that was just right. A Coster Copenhagen shirt and short (see pics) worked beautifully with the navy-blue T-shirt. The shirt from the set and the T-shirt also looked great with the jeans. The outcome was Amanda has some versatile Spring/Summer looks that work for her in her new home.

“When Linda got me to try on this ‘Florida Keys’ combination set I was sceptical. It’s really just not me I thought to myself. It’s so busy and bright or something… But when I stepped out of the dressing room Linda, the assistants in the store, even other customers, all agreed it was a no brainer purchase. And when you think about it, I really wasn’t asking Linda to reaffirm my own old ideas and look. I was asking her to help me sort out a wardrobe that just had me feeling old, bland, and flat.

To help me learn how to match what I thought I wanted with what I bought. What a great leap! I was a bit shy still the first time I wore it. Picked a public but not too busy opportunity. But pretty quickly realised how great a choice it really was. The outfit’s value finally hit me. My own fears and insecurities just weren’t letting me see it even up to the point of actually wearing it.

But now, every time I wear this set, I just feel fresh. It’s comfortable and easy. It suits my shape and works with all my flabby arm and belly…whatever issues. I get women telling me how nice I look, an approving glance up and down. That’s not why I’m changing my wardrobe, but for sure that has never happened before.

It just demonstrates how much value Linda brings to the table, and why I’m jumping for joy. Linda is the perfect transformation partner. And I’m just loving the journey”.
