Bold, bright colour
Bold, bright colour arrived for Melbourne Fashion Week 2022.
The bold bright colours on the runway and seen on the street spoke volumes about the influence of Pier Paolo Piccioli’s pink Valentino Fall 2022 Collection.
Since the pink Valentino Fall 2022 Collection graced the catwalk its has been inspiring fashion designers globally.
There are few moments in fashion when a sudden and radical change in direction occurs. Few other designers, Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada for Miu Miu change the fashion conversation with a single collection. The pink Pier Paolo Piccioli’s Valentino Fall 2022 Collection is now one of them.
In Melbourne the colours and the silhouttes were bold. The bold colour palette was not limited to pink. Bold reds, greens, yellow and blues also featured.
The home of styling in black not only embraced colour on the runway, the streetstyle favoured colour with pink of every shade imaginable being worn.
If you are not ready for a bold bright style then another trend – large sunglasses might suit you better.
The 70’s stylings of wide leg pants and big sunnies was the go to style for Melbourne’s fashionistas.
Next stop, Sydney.
