bespoke boutiques abound
If you have not visited Canberra’s retail precincts in a while you are in for a lovely surprise.
Heading over to Manuka Green this is where you will now find Stephanie’s Boutique Lingerie. Stephanie’s joins the established Manuka favourites Momento Dezigns and Department of the Exterior.
Over in Kingston Ted & Olive the well-known Wagga based boutique has come to Canberra. They have taken over the space previously occupied by Stephanie’s Boutique. You will still find Honeysuckle and Lace opposite Kingston’s Green Square and Nina Leon’s Shoes on it. Pop around the corner to the former home of Honeysuckle and Lace to find Goldfinch the Label. This is now the Canberra home of the Pambula based designer, Megan Luhr.
As you head into the city drop by Sissa Sorella which is in Provan Street in the Campbell precinct. Sissa Sorella known for shoes over at their Deakin store has expanded into clothes and homewares in their Campbell store. If it is a wedding dress, you are after then call by Mrs Fray a few doors down from Sissa Sorella.
Before heading into the Canberra Centre explore the Anna Thomas store in Lonsdale Street for beautiful workwear. For more casual fashion and homewares call into the Derek Collective which is located in the Ori Building. While you are there check out the simply beautiful Blissiimo store that is a perfumery and so much more. You will know it by the full sized Zebra in the window.
In the Canberra Centre, the new shop to try is not so much a bespoke retailer but it is a welcome new addition. Glasson has come to Canberra. You can find it opposite the entrance to Big W.
In other news COS is now available on-line. If you cannot get to the Canberra Centre this is a good option.
It has never been a better time to return to stores in Canberra.
