Alberta Ferretti defines the looks for Fall 2022

It is a conundrum. I love hot weather, but it is the clothes of the cooler months that really get my heart racing.

The arrival of Autumn or Fall as it is called in the northern hemisphere is always a double-edged sword. It heralds cooler weather but with that comes Fall fashion from the runways of the northern hemisphere.

So, it is a great joy when a collection arrives where to choose between outfits seems too cruel. During Milan Fashion Week #MFW last week the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2022 Ready to Wear Collection was such a collection for me. Filled with luxe fabrics, there was not an outfit from this collection that I did not love. The palette of cool greys, blues and purple made my heart sing.

I cannot wait to see how this collection influences what becomes available on the high street and shopping malls.
